para-pharmaceutical: more than skin care but less than medicine. The term is not recognized by regulatory agencies such as the US Food and Drug Administration.

pharmaceutical: formulations designed as medicinals.

private label: Elsom Research product made for other companies and carrying their label.
psoriasis: a disease that is known from ancient history but still does not have a cure. There are instead products to relieve the agony associated with the disease and some seem to temporarily improve its visual symptoms.
